Q. I seem to be craving the Mighty Microbes, almost irrationally. And I don’t even like yogurt; what is going on?
A. This is your body saying it appreciates the extra microbes because it’s certainly not the taste! This happens with many fermented foods with many, many strains, like Kimchi.
Q. I used to crave dairy/sugar/unhealthy food, but I no longer do. How did this happen?
A. This is normal. Cravings will adjust. Unhealthy food cravings are actually the unwanted microbes taking charge of influencing what you want to eat. But we’ve overwhelmed your gut with GOOD and wanted microbes, so the old ones don’t have as much sway.
Q. It seems like this new container tastes a little different than the last.
A. This is normal and to be expected for many reasons. With all the inulin in the mix, many of the microbes can still continue to ferment and grow, albeit much slower, due to the lower temperature in the fridge. Thus, the last bite can taste different from the first bite. Also, with trillions of variables, microbes can be a fickle, dynamic, and variable.
Q. How long will my Mighty Microbes last in the fridge?
A. I have finished performing 30 different tests, with 30 different batches of the Mighty Microbes, leaving them in the fridge, unopened for 98-100 days. After the 98-100 days I opened them up, not 1 had any mold on them whatsoever. I was surprised too! It will last the 1-2 months just fine, as long as you are not introducing different strains of microbes to the container via the microbes on your silverware, which can be impossible not to unless you autoclave whatever you use to spoon it out.
Q. My Mighty Microbes supplement is physically growing, causing the lid to bulge. Is this okay and safe to eat?
A. Yes, you may need to “burp” your container. With trillions of microbes, this is still growing, albeit much slower in the fridge. This is a sign it’s still very, very ALIVE. Many, many sources confirm it’s still fine and safe to eat.
Q. My mood has lifted, and I feel lighter. Why did the Mighty Micrbes do that?
A. This is to be expected. In fact, it’s an emerging field called psychobiotics. The gut-brain axis is bidirectional communication between the central and the enteric nervous system, linking the emotional and cognitive centers of the brain with microbes in the intestinal. Repopulate the intestines with good microbes and that reduces inflammation which has been shown to improve mood.
Q. I am a little sensitive to dairy; how will I do with this?
A. As always, consult your healthcare practitioner. There is no way to know for sure how anyone with dairy sensitivities will react to it; however, there are a few good factors that make this much better for people with dairy sensitivities. The first thing we offer a version that is made with organic A2 milk – you can read all about A2 Dairy here. The second thing is one of the microbes in the mix is Bacillus subtilis which breaks down milk proteins, especially κ-casein (the one that most people have problems with). It also has Bacillus Coagulans, which can degrade lactose, found in milk, into glucose and galactose, improving the digestibility of milk and effectively alleviating lactose intolerance. The third positive is you only have a small amount, and it’s generally mixed with other things. So, many people tolerate this with minimal to no issues whatsoever. If you are still concerned and still have a problem with A2 dairy as well, many practitioners suggest that you start with a low dose and mix it in with your normal smoothie to test. The majority of people with dairy sensitivities have reported no problems.
Q. I have a severe dairy allergy. Can I take this?
A. I would not recommend it. As always, consult your healthcare practitioner.
Q. Will you make this in a dairy-free medium?
A. Maybe, if there is enough demand. But we will not develop it for a long while. It cost tens of thousands in testing alone. One can’t just arbitrarily pick what medium each strain of microbes likes to grow in. You can try to grow a Saguaro cactus in Alaska, and it may grow a little with enough force, but it’s never going to thrive, grow, and seed. Don’t view this probiotic as food; it’s a probiotic supplement for your foundational health.
Q. My skin has improved within days. Is this typical?
A. This is to be expected and normal. The internal microbes correlated with skin improvements are included.
Q. What’s a good protocol for rebiosis using the Mighty Microbes and the Mighty Microbe Meal?
A. Consult your health care practitioner. Here is one suggestion from a professional: Study Immune System Hacks, especially the part about Harmony. If you don’t have harmony, don’t even bother with the rest. Start with a three-day fast. Fasting is the quickest, fastest, cheapest way to get in balance. And in three days, that gives you a new immune system and lowers all the inflammation in the body. First thing in the morning, take a spoonful of Mighty Microbe Meal. Then, 1/2 – 1 cup of the Mighty Microbes on an empty stomach. Mix it with your smoothie if you like, or take it straight. Before each meal, another spoonful of the Mighty Microbe Meal. This will reduce insulin spikes and continue to feed the new microbes you’ve added. Another spoonful of Mighty Microbe Meal before bed.
Q. My friend/family/loved one REALLY needs this, but they live out of state. Can you ship it?
A. Yes! We have created a shipping kit. Check out the shipping page.
Q. Is this an MLM? (Multi-Level Marketing)
A. No!
